ECLIPSE 2020

A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, totally or partially obscuring the image of the Sun for a viewer on Earth. On Monday December 14, 2020 there will be a total solar eclipse blocking all direct sunlight, turning the day into darkness.

This historical event will have the highest visibility in the Araucanía Region, Chile. In the communes of Pucón, Villarrica and Temuco.

Backpackerpucon celebrates this impressive phenomenon and the most entertaining way to observe it is from the Villarrica volcano. From now on you can book your ascent for the available options, either the top or halfway through the Volcano, in addition to accommodation during your stay in the town.

Make your reservations as far in advance as possible, as more than 90% of the hotel capacity in the area is already exhausted. Special price when booking the activity and accommodation with us.
